While the device is good, the software experience is terrible. They have made sure you only can see videos through app, which becomes tedious after some time when you are analysing long video footages. I used the device intermittently, so I have footage older than 30 days. However, I am not able to view it even though the data is there. The SD card is only 60 percent full. The calendar date picker does not go before 30 days. Called customer care. Was promised a call back that never came.

I understand your troubles, RR. Please be advised that this is an expected behavior of the device, it records 24/7 until the SD card is full. The larger the SD card, the longer the device can record. On top of that once the SD card becomes full, the device will begin deleting the oldest recordings. Thank you, Philips Home Living

CCTV picture quality is excellent but the way you show recordings is ridiculous. Comparing with CP Plus and other good cctv brands, you don't have an option of graph time-line to check the daily event recordings. Instead, you have very short clips which are very very difficult to check what we want. Rest everything is good.

Terrible experience. 1) App is so bad that it even runs vid. and sound if closed 2) Tracking feature is bad, that If turned on It will never rest and always record a shaking/moving vid. even if object moved an inch, camera also moves every inch 3) Durability: no camera I bought worked more then month & customer support never helps "we will arrange a call back" then its forever Buy anything Chinese made, definitely more durable then this fragile Product.
