I bought 8 units for building up networks for security purposes. The app is terrible. The devices lost their static IP address during the installation, even several times. The funniest situation is that the device worked at the IP address I had saved but it has lost almost all parameters. It says AGAIN the network is DHCP but still it replies to http requests at the IP address I had configured earlier. Then it lost the device name and IP address together. username becomes back to ubnt. Terrible

Backups lost. Like others have reported I had a number of configuration backups on my phone to quickly set up Nano stations. The upgrade to the App either deleted them or doesn't know where to find them. Adding the last three digits of the MAC address on the list of local devices is a useful improvement.

"How do you manage this UISP switch with a web interface instead of the app" "If you upgrade the firmware, you don't need the app to manage the switch!" "OK, how do you upgrade the firmware?" "Oh you just use the mobile app!" ughhhhhhh, thanks Screwbiquiti
