Tuya Smart

Yay! Grid view finally restored 👍 but from latest update all Smart PLUGS have stopped connecting (they're from different manufacturers and are unlikely to have all gone at the same time) all lightbulbs still connecting, but hoping for a plug fix ASAP 😪 it seems like the permission to connect to wi-fi devices has gone AWOL, it's only connecting to Bluetooth devices.

I've been using Tuya Smart for a good few years now, it's a good system, I have lots of Tuya devices in 2 locations, generally it works well. However, the big problem is.. it's near impossible to get Tuya to send you "system" notifications! As Tuya want you to buy their very expensive subscription service, to receive SMS & Email notifications. ( I certainly can't afford it! ) For me, this has made the "cloud based" Tuya devices uneconomic. I'd look elsewhere if you can!

Great app, got it originally for a CCTV camera and found after buying another that didn't use Tuya it was rubbish, since then I've switched all my cameras to Tuya and I got smart timer switches to control outdoor lighting which all works through the same app, bloody amazing if you ask me. Wish it was easier to find lists of Tuya compatible devices.
