The Free to use tools are VERY limited. They include Magic, around 23 filters, a handful of overlays and elements and you can also adjust the detail and colour levels. Anything else is unfortunately locked behind a pay wall. Also I used the 'Heal' tool to remove a fan from the background of a picture to see what it would look like (you have to pay to then accept or save your changes) and it honestly looked awful! I'll stick to photoshop thanks, thats much better value for money in the longrun

The app seems okay for ease but it isn't worth a subscription. Very misleading also. A one time payment and I'd have maybe considered it. However, I already pay for an adobe subscription so I see no point in this. It is mostly the fact it is misleading you to think that it is free with 'in app purchases' that slightly annoys me. If by 'in app purchases' it meant that I would have to buy extra tools or filters, I'd understand. However, no I'll stick to Adobe. Too sketchy.

Thanks for writing in, we'd like to clarify. You don't have to pay to use Quickshot! The app is free to download and includes many editing tools you can use at no cost. There are also Pro tools that require making a purchase, but that's optional and up to you. As long as you stick to the free tools, you will be able to save any edit - for free!

I haven't check it too much but what I was interested in was the eraser. On Instagram story it looked like you could erase people/things you don't want in the picture. Well, I did it and it doesn't actually fix the background as nothing was there only if you do it with objects that are placed further in the picture. I am not sure about how good other features are, but I will stick with the Photoshop Express.
