Constant popups Couldn't use the app due to the constant pop up asking if I wanted to accept or decline tracking cookies for all their partners. I clicked decline (which is actually still 'essential' cookies) but the pop up justs keeps coming back. As soon as I try to search for any book, you know that I might actually want to give them money for, the pop up comes back, blocks my screen and stops me. Uninstalled. Now trying to delete my account, which also seems impossible - try later, try later

A perfect example of fixing something that wasn't broken. Kobo 9's UI for reading books was pretty much perfect, 10 is horribly inconsistent; constantly changing margins, margins which never span the width of my screen and the app never returning to my last read page when I restart the app, if I don't get a blank screen instead and I now have to manually adjust brightness. I ended up reinstalling Kobo 9 and turning off updates as a result, because 10 is painful to use.

The books load and download fine, but the app is unnecessarily clunky in places. Unlike any other app, you can't have brightness adjust automatically. Each time you read, you need to go into brightness settings and adjust to the appropriate level. Update: this has now changed so the app takes control of the system brightness. However, now it turns off the phone's adaptive brightness so you have to go into system settings after every use to turn it back on š No other app gets this wrong!
