I want to like this game but the rewards and powers are just so few and far in between that it is feeling like a heavy grind. I will update my review again soon. Updated from 2 stars to 3 stars: Progress is slow paced but more enjoyable as you unlock more characters/power ups. One BIG issue is the hitboxes needing an update. The rotating lasers of the bosses come nowhere close to hitting your character yet still drain health. Can't currently rate higher than this till this is fixed.

Love that is basically a polished version of Vampire survivor, premium, no AD junk. But, it's extremly hard and the progression is incredibly SLOOOOOOOOW, you will basically replay the same level 50.200.341 million times to make progress. It does really give zero feeling of progression compared to VS. ¯\(°_o)/¯

Thank you for the compliments, if you are having troubles with the first level we usually suggest to buy the Happy Hour power up and memorize the location of the two extra weapons available in the level. As soon as you gain about 1500-2500 gold you should be able to beat level 1 with some skill.

Gaming In The Moment
TL;DR: Nerd Survivors is a fun, $2.99 survivor-like game with a nerdy aesthetic and challenging gameplay. Despite the lack of synergies and slow meta-progression, it offers engaging boss fights, interesting weapon customization, and a satisfying experience exploring destructible environments. The game runs smoothly without major frame rate issues and is worth checking out for fans of the genre.
