Pay to win. I've played this game a lot over the years, Use to be max level. It's become more and more money oriented. To the point now that you need to buy all these shards to compete with everyone. Around £9.99 per card to get the more powerful version and there are many cards, you'll easily spend £100+ if you want to compete. They will bring more cards out soon which you'll end up needing to spend another £100 to stay competitive. If you are not going to invest, don't bother. Gg if you are.

Sigh. Classic case of great game, but ruined by p2w mechanics. At the start, it's quite f2p friendly. But you will run into very p2w players soon, and long before unlocking all cards. They also employ dark mechanics to keep you in the game as well (so do other games) They do have a casual mode where everything is equal level, but again, you need to progress through ranked matches to unlock cards for this mode too.

Money sucker! The game is fantastic. It's highly addictive once you get the feel of it. One thing which I found annoying is when you are in battle mode and you get matched against an opponent of higher your level. It's very difficult to beat them since the health of their cards is much more. Ergo, I wish if we get matched according to king tower levels in battle instead of number of trophies. That would be a level playing field. also, gameplay sucks on mobile internet. I hope creators fix it.
