Great source of info (edit) knocking this down to a 3 with the latest version. AI, damnable AI, now includes a flashy, irritating icon for pointless AI and as far as I can see no way to disble the darn thing. Kilometers?? Why no miles option. Search radius is still too hammer like - 40km or 80km - 40 misses a lot of venues and 80 includes too much that's unreachable - sliding scale please.

Hi, thanks for your message and apologies for the trouble. Can you please email us at support@bandsintown.com so that we can show you how to disable the new ai option if you prefer not to use it? Thanks!

Used to be a great app but the constant notifications are getting out of hand. The "tickets are selling out fast" notifications cannot be disabled and are sent out multiple times a day. Now also appears to include an AI assistant that no one asked for, with flashing graphics on the AI button which are incredibly distracting when using the app. I will be deleting and moving over to Songkick.

Home screen is full of big artists I don't follow, despite the fact that some artists I am explicitly tracking have shows near me in the near future. If you're interested in keeping track of whether the artists you like have shows coming up, this app makes you dig for it--it's to the point where it's really no more convenient than just googling each on individually.
