Update: the website has been brought down to the app's level (missing features). UI is okay is not the worst but easier to use external websites to check what's on MUBI. Few exclusives. You still can't turn off teaser trailers. I have had a Mubi subscription since 2014 and I finally cancelled this year. I miss what it once was but I was struggling to justify it, Mubi was once essential but after the price increases and no loyalty offers I've given up. Other better options exist nowadays.

Great film catalogue. But very, very poor UX. For no reason at all, Mubi have made it as difficult as possible to find films - there's no A-Z of films available to watch and I'm sure there used to be. There's also no feature to filter by category, so I can't browse all the, say, horror films without browsing the entire app. This makes it a chore to look for a film to watch and I find myself getting tired and turning on Netflix instead. I'm less likely to resubscribe.

Films can then be added to your watchlist, and viewed on the app. If you need anything else please email us at support@mubi.com

Since this rating is for the app functionality and not the service itself (which is superb), I have to take off one star because I continuously get the same issue: after finishing the movie (all the way to the end), it keeps on staying in "continue watching" tab. There are movies I finished weeks ago and they still populating the said tab. Can this glitch be resolved? Also, a dark mode option would be nice. The whiteness in the app is blinding.
